Cable/Internet/Phone Companies Should Automatically Refund Customers for ALL Service Outages Caused by the Company

Created by S.H. on October 16, 2015

Currently Cable television/internet/phone outages are not automatically credited/refunded by Cable/telecommunications companies, whether they are widespread system outages or individual outages. Credits for these outages must be requested by the customer. This petition is to urge the federal government to establish rules that would require a Cable/telecommunications company to automatically credit customers who experience outages on a system caused by the Cable/internet/phone Company, whether widespread or individual events. Not only does a customer have to initially request the credit but the customer has to check back with the company to insure that the credit is applied as in some cases the credit is not applied until approved by a supervisor at the Cable Company.
