CALIFORNIA HAS RAISED THE LEGAL SMOKING AGE TO 21, LET'S KEEP IT AT 18.

Created by J.M. on May 05, 2016

California Gov. Jerry Brown approved raising the legal age to buy tobacco for smoking, dipping, chewing and vaping from 18 to 21.
The new law, which will take effect June 9, makes California the second state to raise the legal smoking age to 21. It will not apply to military personnel.
Brown didn't say why he signed the measure along with 4 others restricting tobacco use in various ways, and his staff declined to comment.
Supporters of the law said it aims to deter adolescents from the harmful, sometimes fatal effects of nicotine addiction. (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.yahoo.com/amphtml/news/)

If I can be drafted for war, I can vote, I can get myself in debt, but I can't purchase smoking products? When will the government stop governing what we do with our bodies? Act for liberation.
