Since the elections people across California have been wanting the succession of the state and to get rid of Trump. We aim with this petition to get the federal government to see what the people of California want. To secede and form the New California Republic, a republic based on the people's values. A republic where the people themselves vote for the president. As the 6th largest economy in the world and lots of agriculture California could sustain itself as a country. It has major exports in technology that can be used for trade to get other resources needed for California to maintain a country. Help California become it's own independent country as the people see fit!
