We need a national conversation to modernize our Constitution. This should include public, open discussions on abolishing the Electoral College; ending lifetime tenure for Supreme Court justices; creation of Congressional seats for Representatives and Senators who represent the entire Nation rather than only Districts and States; reforming the Constitutional Amendment process; and providing clearer descriptions of the powers and limitations of the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of the Federal Government.
