We the people of the United States of America call for Congressional reform. Reform should begin with term length. We call for a change to (one) four year term, no more. Members become out of touch with the American citizens after a longer term. Salary while in office shall be lowered to $75,000 year with no eleigible bonus factors. They should have their personal careers before entering into congress and shall return to their respective careers after their term has been served. While a congress member, they will be covered under the government healthcare plan. After leaving office, they shall rely on healthcare and retirement benefits from their employers, investments and capital gains. We the people will no longer support you with a life of luxury on our dime. We call for reform today.
