A bloody confrontation happened in Maoming City,Southern China on the 30th of March.It is because a proposed P-Xylene factory near the city.People are concerns about the chemical impact on environment and health.People are also concerned that there is no transparency of information.thousands of civilians held a demonstration against this project.The local government immediately repressed the demonstration by violence and cut off all relevant media reports.Only few people living Maoming transferred some live photos and claimed that there are people dead during the repression.The officials did not give an open and transparent reports. We are hoping that President Obama can call Chinese President XI to urge local Chinese governments to start to communicate with people peacefully and openly.
