With the current atmosphere of distrust and potential violence surrounding the 2016 Presidential Election, It is incumbent on the government leadership to aggressively investigate, prosecute and punish individuals and organizations that are found to be guilty of voter fraud, voter intimidation, and vote falsification, and voter bribery.
While there are laws on the books to punish these offenses, It is imperative to send a strong and clear message that open and free elections have the full support of the government as a whole regardless of party. To do any less sends a message that it's an acceptable practice to defraud the American voter for a good cause.
