Organizations such as the ACLU and Freedom From Religion make it their mission to purge America of its religious background. Most over 85% of Americans believe in God, so why aren't our children allowed to express themselves to him? Allowing prayer will not prevent anybody from expressing their faith, nor will it prevent anyone from not having faith at all. In religiously homogeneous areas, schools are restricted by a law that infringes on their 1st amendment rights. The Founding Fathers wanted a separation of church and state, not for the state to intrude in the church.
