Congress has manufacturered an emergency situation with the "fiscal cliff", and now rather than taking responsibility for it, and trying to resolve the issue, they want to go home for Christmas.
Congress should be right there in DC, in the Capitol, and in session on Christmas Day if that's what it takes. They made this mess, now clean it up.
The president has the power, enumerated in article 2 of the Constitution, to call Congress back into session. We the undersigned demand that the President do so, and continue to do so until this crisis is averted.
