We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Call on Congress to Enforce the Emoluments Clause on Day 1 of the Trump Presidency

Created by M.V. on December 31, 2016

President-elect Trump is in clear violation of the Emoluments Clause. After reading the Brookings Institution's explanation regarding the clear purpose and proscriptions of the Emoluments Clause, if President Elect Trump does not divest himself of the involvements he has in foriegn business, whether through sale or a true blind trust arrangement, it is clear that he cannot serve as President. He has thus far refused to take the appropriate action. If he continues to ignore this clear obligation, Congress must act to remove President-elect Trump from office until he provides true transparency on his domestic and international businesses.
