It's quite obvious that the costs of healthcare continue to soar in spite of the ACA. This is in part due to the unethical over pricing of life saving drugs and procedures by our "for profit" pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. These life saving drugs are at times being marked up nearly 5000% over cost of production and overhead, simply because people will need them to live. It is highly unethical and to be honest, is extortion. "Buy our $1 product for $600 or risk death." There should be a cap on the markup for cheap drugs that can save lives. Making a profit is fine, but there should be a limit. Especially when they know certain inexpensive drugs are needed by a person to live. This also puts the poor at a severe disadvantage.
