This petition calls on congress to pass constitutional amendment to restricted jus soli (soil birthright citizenship), which will stop anchor babies. The constitutional amendment should say: A individual born in United States acquires U.S citizenship by birth only if at least one parent was a U.S citizen at time of the individual's birth or upon the 16th birthday of the individual regardless of their parent's citizenship status, if the individual was born within the United State of America, the individual's parents were permanent resident of the United States of America at the time of the individual's birth, and the individual has been living in the United States of America for 16 consecutive years as a permanent resident of United States of America.
