Call onto Congress to pass a law forcing all hospitals and other health care providers to prominently display prices.

Created by R.H. on February 24, 2013

A recent article in Time Magazine "Bitter Pill: Why Medical Bills Are Killing Us" exposes the rampant price inflation that is occurring in the health care industry, driving prices sky high and allowing hospitals to overcharge on everything.

Demand for Congress to investigate this practice and pass laws to protect health care consumers by forcing all hospitals to publicly post their prices on their web sites for electronic distribution so patients can perform comparison shopping to find the best health care they can afford.

Medical expenses is the #1 cause of bankruptcy. Not having pricing information beforehand has led too many Americans to financial ruin.

We don't sign a contract to buy a car without knowing the price in advance. Why should health care be any different?
