Call on Congress to replace the Columbus Day with the Day After Thanksgiving.

Created by D.D. on December 18, 2015

As Columbus Day is observed by fewer States and municipalities each year, and also recognizing the growing opposition to the holiday, we call on the Administration to propose to Congress to replace it within the meaning of 5 U.S.C 6103, with the Day After Thanksgiving. This would allow more Federal Employees to travel and spend more time with their families over Thanksgiving.
