There needs to be reform in order for congress to work more effectively and make better decisions that actually help society and not just a few people. I feel that congressman have become too focused on what will get them re-elected instead of making courageous decisions to improve the common good.
I feel that congressional term limits would also help to reduce corruption and political favors since congressman would not have as much at stake if they were to lose. Instead, they make safe decisions at the expense of the majority that protect the people or companies who supply the money for their election campaigns just to ensure that they keep their position of power.
