Over 4 million people live in the US territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, the US Virgin Islands, and American Samoa. And yet they don't have a say on who should run the country every time the US Presidential election comes around; which is appalling. It is quite clear that a constitutional amendment is in order that is similar to the 23rd amendment, which extends the right to vote in the presidential election to citizens residing in the District of Columbia by granting the District electors in the Electoral College, as if it were a state. This nation has come so far in giving everyone the right to vote, and yet not giving the territories a right to choose is a huge injustice.
