CALL FOR A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION

Article V of the Constitution has a provision whereby a Constitutional Convention can be called by at least 2/3 of the states (34) whereby amendments can be drafted by a separate body of delegates (two from each state), not the Congress, before being sent to the state legislatures for ratification (75%). Specifically, such a Convention should address the following concerns of the American people:

Review & revise Congressional Terms of Office.
Review & revise Congressional Compensation & Benefits.
Review & revise policies for Federal Lobbying.
Review & revise policies for the Electoral Process of Congress & President.
Review & revise policies pertaining to Immigration.
Define Balanced Budget Amerndment
Define policy for energy independence.,
Define policy to reduce the deficit and debt.
