Washington is hopelessly addicted to money and thus to the status quo; drunk with power and incapable of getting sober and fixing itself. It is time for an intervention by the states using Article V of the Constitution which permits states to enact Amendments, without Congressional approval, to restore the sanity to economic soundness via a balanced budget amendment to the Consitution.
