America is in an era of disunity. Believing that a just government derives its authority from the consent of the governed, and in light of the extreme, though not necessarily unjustified calls for secession, we, the Undersigned, recommend a reasonable approach to allay the fears of the Citizens of America, in an attempt to restore Public Faith in the Federal Government and its processes.
We, the undersigned, call for the holding of a Constitutional Convention, to be held before the Federal Election of 2013. The aim of this convention would be to put to rest complaints and fears that have arisen over recent decades. Through civility, the divides that have grown may be mended, and order and good faith can be restored into this Great Nation's Leadership.
