We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Call for the CSB to investigate recent accidents involving utility gas lines, make recommendations.

Created by J.E. on November 01, 2016

This year, there has been several events of leaks, explosions, and conflagrations, involving utility natural gas lines and petroleum-carrying pipelines. Some of these accidents are caused by accidentally striking underground lines, and causing flammable liquids and gases to leak, where they would find a source of ignition. These accidents have resulted in fatalities, injuries, and damage to property. We the people believe that most, if not all of these accidents, can be prevented, and petition to call on the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, or CSB, to investigate these events, determine the causes leading up to these events, and propose recommendations to the appropriate agencies and other relevant entities, in order to prevent similar events from happening.
