As of the writing of this petition, 22 States have petitioned for secession from the United States of America. These states are:

Pennsylvania

These states will be called the "Secessionist States."
A secession such as this... Is bad. For what we hope to be obvious reasons. We the People hereby respectfully request President Obama to call an emergency publicly televised meeting with the House of Representatives to discuss and to address the Secessionist States. It is of the utmost importance that this issue be addressed and settled in a peaceful, rational, and NON-secessionist way. Please.
