Admission of Ukraine into NATO would send an unmistakable message to Russia that no further aggression will be tolerated.
By fast-tracking admission of Ukraine into NATO, we would not only be fulfilling our 2008 promise to admit that nation into the alliance, but would bring them under Article 5 of the NATO treaty, giving them the full and undiluted protection of our military and that of our NATO allies in the face of Russian aggression and imperialist expansion.
