There should be a Congressional hearing exploring the possibility of calling on the Gun industry to make a self regulation body that reviews and implements appropriate solutions to solving the gun problems. They should be given time to develop a plan for a self regulatory body made up of gun manufacturers, retailers and enthusiast organizations who work together to organize how to safely use and regulate their product to protect the population. If they cannot or will not put in place a self regulation organization to better control gun usage. The Congenial committee will review all weapons available and select one type of hand gun and one type of rifle needed to maintain a regulated Militia that will be available for purchase with new stringent but reasonable requirements.
