Dear Mr. President, This petition is to offer assistance to Congress by giving our elected officials the opportunity to take their oath of office seriously by returning from vacation & holding a War Authorization Vote without delay. "We the People" wish for our congressional representation to fulfill their responsibility which includes a Constitutional vote to send us into war. It is incumbent of you to formally request of the Speaker of the House of Representatives & the Senate Leader they take the steps necessary to recall their legislators so they may act on their sworn oath & bring a resolution -whether crafted by your Administration or by Congress -to the floor for an up or down vote. Without imminent threat, a vote is necessary. Help make Congress less appalling by requesting a vote.
