The opportunity for peace and diplomacy should never be wasted. An invitation for peace, even if its delivered by a retired basketball player, should be explored. Despite a history of poor decisions by the leadership of North Korea, a peaceful solution could be achieved with a simple phone call. Let us seize the opportunity and show the world that we will accept opportunities to establish a dialog and pursue peaceful resolution whenever possible. Sometimes the most simple solution can also be the right one. What do we really have to lose?
