The new leader is far younger and far more open-minded than his predecessor, and recognizes what the rest of the world has to offer. Technology, the internet, trade, food for his people, etc. If North Korea did not feel so threatened by the western world, it would begin to open up to it, stop investing so much into defense while its citizens starve, and stop its nuclear weapons program (which will never amount to much anyway).
