This petition calls for the legalization of marijuana for both medicinal and recreational purpose. Every year countless amounts of tax payer money are wasted enforcing strict laws which have led to the arrest of millions of innocent people. The current laws need to be abolished and a new structure needs to be out in place so that marijuana can be regulated like alcohol and tobacco in which it will produce revenue and help in creating jobs and shrinking both local and federal deficits.
