Between company-owned locations and franchises, there are now more than 460 Hooters throughout the United States, yet none of them have owls serving the food, as their logo would suggest. Instead, scantily clad women in bright orange shorts are responsible for bringing patrons their beer, hot wings, and Double D Burgers. Many owls including the Common Barn Owl, the Great Horned Owl, and the Northern Hawk Owl possess the necessary grasping strength to serve most appetizers, desserts, and entrees. With this in mind, I'd like to see more owls being given opportunities to work at Hooters.
