Call for a national Constitutional Convention to reform the constitution and the federal government.

Created by D.J. on October 24, 2015

Our government today faces many problems. Partisan politics, the increasing power of special interest groups, and the decreasing amount of actual democracy are just a few of the most pressing. There is little doubt that our government needs reform. But so far no one has been able to do so without being completely shut down by the existing power structures. To resolve this issue, we think that the President should actively promote and call for a Constitutional Convention as outlined in Article V of the Constitution. This would allow members of state legislatures the chance to reform the entirety of the US government, from the ground up. We urge the White House to help us to start this Convention, in order to promote democracy and change our government for the better.
