Armed right-wing extremists are four days into occupying a building on the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. These terrorists say they are protesting injustice, but the facts of the case in question are that the Hammond family set fires to cover up illegal poaching, and their sentence did not meet minimum sentencing requirements.
This is precisely the type of incident that the National Guard was designed to address, and they should be called in immediately to end this situation as quickly as possible. We must not allow these right-wing extremists to become emboldened or these acts of terrorism will increase in frequency and severity.
