If you consider the Federal Government to be dysfunctional, then you should consider this petition.
1. The two House Legislature is obsolete. If the current structure worked, the country would not have the problems that it has.
2. The Congress is controlled by two political parties whose members don't read the bills they vote on.
This petition calls for a national vote to redefine the US Congress to be a single legislative body with 3 groups of equal size.
Conservative & Liberal members to be elected every 2 years. State Governors to appoint Independent members every 2 years.
Better legislation can be achieved by adding Independent members, thus increasing State rights, & eliminate the bi-polar gridlock.
