People on both sides of the political spectrum can agree that the system is broken and that we need a new one. Our country's problems are becoming worse by the day because lawmakers only issue temporary fixes for the "fiscal cliff," healthcare, and other issues. This petition urges that a new constitution be drafted by representatives from each of the 50 states which best represents the true interests of the American people. This is the only way that we could once again enjoy a government "by the people."
