Incidents of racism, bigotry and intimidation are on the rise since the election of Donald Trump.
Mr. Trump has said he intends to be President of all the people. We the people of the United States of America – Republicans, Democrats and others, of all faiths, ethnicities and orientations, together call on Mr. Trump to say clearly and publicly that these actions are not acceptable either in word or deed, and that we must all treat each other with respect and compassion.
We call upon President-elect Trump to immediately hold a press conference to address these issues, and to prove through his actions that his legacy as President of this great nation will not be one of hate, exclusion, violence or repression but rather respect for the diversity that has always defined this great country.
