James Comey inserted himself and the FBI in the 2016 presidential election and by using innuendo and claiming to "re-open an investigation" gave the false impression that one presidential candidate had committed a crime and thus delivered the presidential election to Donald Trump and his Russian supporters. James Comey has forever tarred the image of the FBI and his continued directorship poses a continued threat to the FBI's role as a non-partisan law enforcement agency.
