At any time of the year a storm can take down our above-ground power lines that can result in outages that can leave people without electricity for hours or even days. If we can send a man to the moon, surely we can begin an infrastructure project that would bury our power lines underground and make these electrical outages a thing of the past within 5 or 10 years.
