Lets break the logjam that we are currently experiencing in the US Senate and House. It's time to ask the people (We the People) to make their voices heard on this issue where our politicians are being bought by special interest groups manipulating their decisions. In the last 10 years, approximately 900,000 people have died due to gun related incidents in the US compared to a mere 3500 due to acts of terror. Many of our politicians have given the government great overreaching powers to stop acts of terror on our soil but aren't even willing to discuss how to reduce gun violence.
The amount of money & effort that has been expended to keep us safe from "external threats" in our own country while we allow the blind sale of guns is disproportionate.
