We urge the Democratic Party members of the Congress
to call the bluff of the Republicans whenever they
threaten to filibuster an important bill, and force
them to actually carry out the filibuster. This would
effectively end that tactic which has stalemated the
ability of our government to govern, and has held the
American public hostage to a conservative minority
