The VA Health System is in crisis & is overwhelmed with the current backlog of medical cases. To help them catch up, call back Reserve & National Guard medical personnel to active duty for 90-120 days to staff Military & VA Hospitals. Who better to treat Veterans than fellow Vets? They could rapidly fit in to VA or Military Medical Centers and help quickly to reduce the backlog and get the VA caught up. And they are the best equipped in skills, procedures and background to be of greatest help to other Veterans and understand their medical needs. Be flexible with Guard and Reservists if not able to serve right now. Possibly rotate people or units through the system to extend the time that this program could be kept going.
