All Senators whom voted against universal background checks should be asked for their immediate resignation. In voting against the overwhelming majority of the people of which they represent they have chosen to put the will of themselves and the special interest groups above the will of the people. In failure to carry out the will of we the people, the job which we elected them to do they have created a mistrust of the American public and should therefore remove themselves from office.
