While we recognize the necessary separation between state and federal government, we call upon the President of the United States to ask Governor Mike Beebe to seek the immediate resignation of State Senator Nate Bell. His remarks regarding cowering Boston liberals was not only in poor taste but also full of hateful rhetoric that targeted a particular group of people. This level of disregard for fellow citizens cannot continue to be fostered within our own government at any level.
