call on Saudi Arabia to end the practice of imprisoning and executing political prisoners, and free Ali Mohammed Al Nimr

Created by D.S. on September 20, 2015

Our leadership in the world calls for us to stand for our values. When we have failed to do so in the past, we wound up arming tyrants like Saddam Hussein and terrorists like Osama bin Laden.

As we support Saudi Arabia's security, we have a right to demand that its monarchy understand that human rights are not Western Values but universal, and demand that it end the practice of torturing prisoners of conscience and executing political prisoners.

We call upon the President, as the chief architect of our relations, to make our values known, publicly, to our allies and to the world, and to demand accountability.
