call on Taiwan's government not to attack students

Taiwan is now facing a serious democracy crisis. The government is pushing a trade pact with Mainland China, which is questionable on democratic procedure. Hence students started a protest and barricaded inside the Taiwan’s Legislature. However, the government may assign riot police officers to attack students. With the spirit of humanitarian, we need to protect students form potential violence of the government. Thus, we hope the US grovenment can make an appeal to Taiwan's government not to attack students.
