What is the proposal?
1. The debt ceiling is hereby abolished.
2. Current acts are to be reviewed by an independent, trans-partisan commission and streamlined with common sense naming conventions.
3. Funding for current bills will be allocated as discretionary or non-discretionary during the audit process.
4. Once the audit is complete, bills affecting prior legislation may no longer be named as new legislation. Any changes to standing law must be named by the affected law.
5. Budgetary needs for all acts shall be based on an agreed economic indicator before being voted into law. Voting a bill into law infers support for funding said bill until such time as the law is repealed or modified.
Laws should be voted for and against clearly and publicly, not couched in propaganda.
