The choice of two people only leaves hundreds of thousands of voters with no choice, essentially abandoning their vote, or casting a vote for someone they do not truly believe is the best representative of their voice and leader. Given the choice between Trump and Clinton, many prople will choose to stay home instead of voting because they believe that neither presidential candidate is qualified to represent the people of this country. Changing the law to allow two nominees on the ballot for republican and democratic parties will give the American voters a stronger voice in the voting process. Delegate count should not be the stronger factor, the voice of American people should.
