Warren Lee Hill is a man sentenced to death by lethal injection by the State of Georgia in less than 30 days, but he has been found "mentally retarded" (this term may be politically incorrect but it is the official language used by the state) by 9 different medical specialists who have examined him. To put a human being with serious mental limitations to death is barbaric, inhumane, and uncivil. The Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles can commute death penalties to life without parole, but they have yet to commute Hill's sentence. The Supreme Court has already found death penalties of the mentally challenged unconstitutional, but Georgia uses a ridiculously high burden of proof for demonstrating a man as mentally challenged.
