We ask that members of the senate and congress take a pay cut of roughly 35% to show the citizens of the United States that they are with us and truly feel the pain that so many citizens are feeling.
With this, we also tie a clause to the "Fiscal Cliff", that if members of the senate and congress do not create a resolution, they lose their pay for each day and week it does not get resolved.
If members of congress and the senate are truly representatives of the people. They need to feel the pain that the people feel.
