Call upon the Presidential Debate Commission to allow third-party candidates into the debates.

Created by J.R. on September 10, 2016

President Obama:

Third-party candidates (such as Dr. Jill Stein and Gov. Gary Johnson) are being excluded from the presidential debates by the presidential debate commission despite the majority of Americans asking for a third-party voice in the presidential debates. The commission (a non-partisan, tax-exempt organization) has set arbitrary guidelines that prevent candidates outside the Republican-Democrat duopoly from having their voices heard even if they qualify on the ballot in all 50 states. As the leader of the free world and president of the United States, you know the importance of free and open elections and we the people ask you to call upon the presidential debate commission to uphold the democratic process we all hold dear and allow third party candidates in the debates.
