Requiring a super majority of 60 votes to move legislation forward or gain approval has effectively prevented Congress from governing and doing the business of the people. If 5 to 4 votes in the SCOTUS can change our lives and 51 to 49 results can win an election, the Senate must acknowledge that in America the majority rules.
