Campaign Finance Reform to Ensure Citizen Efficacy in Voting

Created by D.H. on October 27, 2011

Ensures that new laws on campaign finance laws are either passed by Congress or implemented by Executive Order that

- Limit the maximum amount an individual can donate to any campaign for public office to $100
- If corporations are citizens then they also must abide by this requirement
- Ends all PAC's, Super PAC's, or similar campaign finance mechanisms that inherently inhibit the efficacy of the average American citizens in the policies of their elected officials
- A maximum of 10% of a campaign contributions can be spent on "personal" needs such as lodging or transportation
- recognizes that the current laws legalize corruption in by given special interests a louder voice than American citizens and contradicts the goals of our Founding Fathers
