The division of our great nation is a troubling situation. All Americans, our government included, need to be reminded what this country is all about. It shouldn't take tragedies to reunite the United States; however, it seems that is the only time most Americans are acting like Americans. We all want to pursue life, liberty, and happiness...yet, all we are doing is fighting with each other, which is very counter productive.
Now that the Presidential Campaign is over for another four years, perhaps the current administration could spend just as much effort campaigning Americans to demonstrate what this country stands for. The United States have been through worse times and survived. Don't allow this country to become similar to those we fight against in the middle east.
